Client:
ABC International is an organization having wide range of business network with about 52 branches all over India and abroad. ABC International being impressed by the features offered by Wings, decided to automate their entire business community using Wings Accounting software.

Challenge:
Out of the 52 branches of ABC International, 27 were rural branches. Some rural branches had infrequent internet access or no internet access, which means obtaining the data from the rural branches for consolidation at the head office, is a distant dream. Owing to this, ABC international refrained from automating its business.

Furthermore, ABC International wanted a cost-effective measure to resolve this issue and were not willing to expend much on the infrastructure.

Solution:
Wings Multi Location Accounting is the fascinating solution provided to overcome this issue.

Satellite Servers were installed in the rural branches and a main server was placed at the Head office. The rural branches record the transactions in their satellite server and at the end of the day connect to the main server and upload the incremental data. The Main Server receives and accepts data from the individual branches and consolidates them with the main database (Main Server) for reporting. The data can be sent to the main server through Emails.

For those branches that does not have an internet connection, the data files can be copied onto the disks/CDs and sent to the Head Office where they can be merged with the database on the main server.
