The Client:
Autofin Ltd is an authorized dealer of TATA four-wheeler vehicles and Spares. The client is involved in the Sales and Service of vehicles besides the sale of spare parts.

Problems faced in the earlier system:
The client was using a software package developed in FoxPro and encountered the following issues.

• There was no link between the Sales and Service module and therefore resulted in repetition of work. The Client had to create the vehicle details separately for Sales and Service.
• The software provided very limited access to Financial Accounting.
• The software was not user-friendly. The client was more accustomed to window based menu styles, which was lacking in the software.
• The software supported single window system i.e. it supported working on only one screen at any point of time. Hence, the client had to close a window to open another window. This was tedious and exasperating.

Client Requirements:
The client sought a user-friendly package that is bundled with all basic features, and is able to handle the sale of vehicles, spare parts and services.

• In Wings Auto, the Sales, Service and Financial modules are effectively integrated with each other. The sales process is also designed keeping in mind the prevalent practice of the Automobile dealers.
